A soft divide:
This was a renovation to a 1930s era apartment in the British concession. Boundaries within a home are constantly being crossed. Sometimes the living room becomes a study and sometimes a bedroom becomes a changing room. Thus, we decided to keep the finishes palette primarily white, creating spaces that are visually homogeneous. As for the closet area, we replaced the hard surface with a soft fabric. We felt this was appropriate for a space that is being touched everyday.
